Karen Holst co-founded educational technology startup MyEdu, later acquired by Blackboard. After the acquisition, Karen served as an executive fellow with the California Department of Education helping to bring innovative solutions to the public sector.
She later joined IDEO to launch IDEO U, a learning platform that teaches and trains organizations how to innovate and grow.
A whole-brain thinker, Karen loves to tackle problems and bring value to services, products, and organizations through human-centered design. Her work has been highlighted in The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, and CBS The Early Show.
